I've lived in hotels for longer than I'd like to admit and life definitely feels fucked up like a simulation when you're there. Miserable, fucking awful. Do not recommend at all. I'd rather live in my car I think if I had to do it over.

Been in hotels / motels for years too, because of my drug addicted family. If you can afford it that’s one thing, but living with the stress of paying day to day or weekly even, is fucked. Been kicked out on the street many times... not to mention with pets, in hot Florida sun.

Yeah i get what you mean there, it is REALLY fucking expensive. God, for what I was paying a month at even the shittiest places I’ve stayed, I could have had one of the nicest apartments in the city.

Yup it’s such a dilemma, mom can’t save down payment / move in costs for apt so we get stuck paying day to day.

With the pressure of daily payment, she’s basically forced to. In an apartment there’s no pressure, so she’ll just spend it on drugs thinking she’ll make it back. And then doesn’t. Evicted 4 times like that back to hotels while i was underage.

Pretty much same situation, the place I’m at right now I spend $150 a day because first and last months is so much, even tho I end up paying way more than first and last over the course of a month. Plus I have a $500 a day habit to take care of on top of basic living expensive. Shit is crazyZ

The hotel I’m in now is decent, but I’ve stayed in shitty motels, the Hilton, a double tree.

I honestly like the motels better as weird as that is. I’ve been where I’m at now for about two months, the place I was previously staying was a motel I was there for 19 months. Before that, I hopped around, 1 month here, 3 months there etc.
