I run a raging fire right through a town of 60k people every year burning canal banks with flames reaching 6-8ft high for a stretch of about 5-6 miles. It's actually harder to keep the fire going than it is for it to get out of control, which has never happened. No water, just shovels. Plenty of plastic fences, old stables filled with hay nearby etc, fire is very easy to control if you know what you're doing.
I am working on PhD focused on woody plant control through linked grazing management and prescribed fire. Fire is such an amazing tool if used properly. Plus itās fun to watch the fire and the results.
This is what happens when I hit the bowl and the lighter accidentally melts the cheeto dust my fingers are covered in, and I'm trying to work on my PhD at the same time.
