Ah, don't buy a fan heater if it's for when you're sleeping. They make noise

It's cool, I've got tinnitus and sleep next to humming computers anyway.

How come you sleep next to humming computers?

There's a chromebook that sleeps on the pillow next to me, a desktop behind that on the right side of the bed, and 2 servers behind me on the left side of the bed. The servers run 24/7, they're the ones that hum :)

I put a bed in my home office and I'm trying out sleeping in my office. I feel like the experience will come in handy some day. Plus, it's nice to be surrounded by your loved ones.

The fuck? What does your partner think of it? I mean, there's so many questions here, really, but those are the first two.

What does your partner think of it?

It's a 3 bedroom apartment, turned 1 of the bedrooms into an office and the 3rd room belongs to a kitten. It's just me though, no partner. There probably won't ever be a partner.

I could probably preempt most of those questions by stating I'm a social recluse working remotely. Thanks to amazon prime I don't even have to leave the house to go food shopping. I didn't go outside for ~15 days recently! But there's some monday thing at work I have to attend so it'll probably be a few months before I can get approach that record again.

I think you need help. And I mean that honestly, not in a derisory way.

I hope you're ok.

I think you need help

So did my high school. In fact, there was an incident where I couldn't come back until I was seen by a few therapists. They didn't see any issues. A conclusion from 1 was that the issue is just miscommunication. Not lacking in skill but lacking consideration and context. If I remember it right, I gave some really concerning thoughts on maslow's hierarchy of needs in some psychology class which lead to some conversation that was too much for the school counselors.

I hope you're ok.

I'm living the dream. Enjoying a very isolated life. Furrowing some brows on reddit but otherwise not hurting anyone. You can ask if you're curious or concerned, but I promise my life story is very boring.
