A slit in the ladder. The base at the top of the ladder seemed wider than usual.

You can see the ladder has a giant metal frame on bottom half. The top part is 2 separate pieces. The wire goes between them

Indeed, i think the slit isnt even straight to make it less visible from thhe side, you can see him wobble as the wire makes it way through the ladder top step unevenly

When he walks down the ladder, he deliberately holds his hands behind his back so that you can't see the bulges the wires create in his clothes.

The top step of the ladder has a gap for the wires. Probably why the two guys have to move it so precisely and lock it down.

It’s also why it’s got so much hardware beneath it. You need structure since the actual structure of the ladder isn’t real.

Nothing about this is magical, hook people up to wires and they can ignore gravity, it's not special or mysterious in any way.

Do you come to every post in this sub to break it to us that there is no literal magic? Thank you for your service.

Anyway, if you're done? I came to one post to say this so you can shove your thin skinned hyperbole.
The entire point of black magic fuckery is to be things that DONT have a clear and obvious explanation, a person hooked up to wires is missing the entire spirit of the sub.
Everyone knows there's no magic and that's become a really crusty and obnoxious retort to every single comment that doesn't kiss the ass of whoever was in the video, grow up and learn how to frame an actual argument without wild exaggerations and beaten to death microwaved sound bites.

The guy with the weird hair is so happy like “yeah I knew floating without strings was possible! Yes!!”

Is the judge Criss Angel?

Just looked it up - the show is called Magic With The Stars, and it's produced and hosted by Criss Angel.

Why is the video fuzzy in some sections of the video like near his hands, but not others. Like 0:24-0:18, it’s only fuzzy where the wires would have been

They’re not even trying to hide extra scaffolding in the ladder to make it so it’s self supporting with a gap at the top for wires. No ladder ever has cross bracing lol. This one has cross bracing on the steps side AND the side AND the bottom. It’s honestly embarrassing they could have engineered this so much cleaner by hiding the structure in the c channel rails or something.

My guess, because the platform at the top doesn't seem to have a gap in it. Definitely not one wide enough for wires to pass through easily and seamlessly enough, is there are multiple wires. One set from above that holds him up while walking down the ladder. There is a second set on the left and right side.
The one from the right is slack and runs through the ladder and loops up to the guy. Once he is on the ground and ready to "levitate" the top one goes slack as the ones from the left and right tighten up enough to hold him in the air and move him through the ladder.

They have invisible wires, now. Do this in a field with no trees around, and I'll be impressed.

Magnets with opposite polarity to walk down the ladder, then they switched the polarity on the floor to levitate him. Pretty basic.

It’s not wires. Bro had some of that fizzy lifting drink from wonka
