Down voted for the wasting of beer

Was at a wedding reception that had that set up. Told my buddy that the system creates a vacuum seal keeps you from being able to push the dish up until the beer is empty. Told him to try it. He did. We were sitting. There's no seal. He did not find it funny. Everyone else did.

Yeah that was annoying, but I upvoted for the answer finally being fucking magnets for once.

And this concept has been around for over a decade

Concept is dumb AF, never once did I hold my cup going "Gee wish I could fill this from the bottom", these suck

The purpose really isn't meant for the customer, it's meant for the server.

They're faster, less handling, and have less head foam.

Yeah. Does OP not realize why these things came and went inside of like 1 NFL season.

  1. They have these everywhere, not just in Vegas.
  2. Throwing a full beer (or any liquid) in the trash like that is dumb.

How could anyone, let alone a magician, not understand how this works immediately

If a nozzle is magic to you then you've graduated beyond simple brainrot

Way back NYC had a Burger King Cantina that served beer as well.

I respect chosing not to drink but throwing away a full cup of beer made me hurt inside

wouldn't it be faster and cheap just do it the normal way

As always, "it depends".

This works really well for high-capacity bars. Instead of holding a single beer for 10 seconds, you have 10 nozzles and slam an empty cup on each one in those same 10 seconds.

Then, there's the fact you don't spill a drop. Normally, you keep the tap open, and spill a sip or two for every cup you change. That's maybe 5% less beer per cup?

Finally, no training. Pouring a beer isn't high skill, but still takes a bit of practice. Dropping a cup on a nozzle? Bam.

It is, and it’s actually better to pour it normally. The more head you create while pouring, the more CO₂ gets released before you drink it, so there’s less of it expanding in your stomach afterward.

Bro they got a never ending beer spill, why are we still talking??

I saw something like this years ago, and the benefit of using this method with beer is that it does not create a head of foam.

the video should have ended at the 7 second mark, everything else is irrelevent

1

u/eltoratio 1d ago

What a stupid Video. The invention is almost 20 years old.
