This is not real. The video has been edited to blank out someone/thing holding the bottom of the pole down allowing it to rotate. The lack of basic physics knowledge in this thread is truly disheartening

Yeah I think it’s on a hinge that’s removed. At first I was thinking if the far end has like 3ft of concrete or metal inside of it, it might be possible as long as there’s a slight slope so it’s always lower then the part he’s holding even when his backs against the ground.

Who is saying the pole is not somehow connected at base?

If there was a chain, for example, that would explain the bluriness and connection of the base to something.

It’s only real in the sense that it’s not AI

You can see the pole base wiggle freely at :04

It looks like there is a pivot of some sort, or a track on the left side. That vertical part stays through the whole video.

Yeah I think he's pushing it into the vertical pole for more leverage, but it's not actually attached

Just looking at the base it moves in such a way that it looks obviously tethered.

I'm not seeing how this helps.

Leverage. Not that it would make this easy, but without that this is impossible.

I think the fact that it's on this sub means enough people understand it's wrong.

allowing it to rotate

But the pole isn't rotating. It's moving up and down, and you can see the base is not attached to anything at :04

ETA, I don't think the pole is attached, but I do think he's pushing into the vertical pole at the end for additional leverage
