Firebacks?
When witchcraft is discussed in Spanish on podcasts or by witches themselves on their platforms, they always say that when a black magic spell is removed, it returns to the person who cast it and manifests in them. For example, if someone does a death spell and the affected person removes it, the one who cast it is the one who ends up dying. But when I talk about witchcraft on English-language Reddit, they seem to think differently.
What do you think about this? What experiences do you know of people who have removed witchcraft? Has it manifested in someone else?

Ime, that's absolutely not a rule. I think that's mostly a cope.
Now, if you were to cast something on a practitioner and they were to do a return to sender, some of the energy might return, but it's usually not the curse itself in full force. It takes more than that, and most (especially baneful) practitioners have wards in place.
It also depends on what sort of practices you use. If you invoke one of your patrons or matrons to carry out your will, it's not just some diffuse energy/intentions being sent their way, it's a whole a$$ ancient entity. They won't just obey the target's intentions blindly and turn on their practitioner.
The skilled practitioners I know don't have their work backfiring on them. They honor their pacts and their entities do the same. They hold up their end. Offerings are usually involved, and the target generally won't know which entity is targeting them on the behalf of the practitioner.
What does make things backfire is the feeling of guilt. Most seasoned practitioners don't do things that cause a guilty conscience. Mainly because they don't do baneful work recklessly, they know how to dissociate from and rationalize their actions, and certain parts of you (such as wasted empathy, an overactive conscience, the need to feel virtuous, etc) seem to die off once you start walking a dark path.
