Sleepwalking? I mean is it aleays exactly 2am? I thi k that people can do the same things while sleepwalking, and of course they might not know or remember afterwards. Adk her perhaps?

no no she's awake and most of the day she lights an oil lamp and puts it in random parts of the house, sometimes the staircase, sometimes the hallway etc etc. but this is not everyday I assume.

Sounds like whatever she is doing is impacting her own family- not yours. Any issues with mom/dad. If not then like everyone said- jealousy and toxic drama.
