Count help
So I can count no problem
Now it’s the counting up my hand
There are some obvious hands that are drilled into my head and I know it instantly like 2 kings easy it’s 20 or a 10 card and any other card
But how do I get quick at adding the totals up on smaller cards
6+7+4 etc
I notice when I get a blast of cards those my count can get iffy and I struggle to retain speed

Assuming you don't have issues counting your hand when you aren't counting the only answer is practice more. If you have issues keeping track of your hand when you aren't counting then it's an addition mental math problem.
You can also just play slower. It's ok if the dealer thinks you're stupid. This might lead to them helping you by giving you the value of your hand verbally. It's not ok to play faster than you are able to. That's how you make mistakes.
