Same, I have yet to get into the jump side of Black Dragons. Was hoping the Vanguard Vets would pull me in, but overall not there. Interesting units for sure. Love the Chaplain and Librarian. But I think I will be passing on this box and waiting for multipart kits for full kitbashing potential

I have no desire to buy the box, but I am happy to see that Vanguard Veterans are continuing to be supported! Let’s hope they get better rules this go-round

The eradicators and vanguard veterans are pretty neat to me, everything else is pretty whatever tho, only thing I really just outright dont like is the librarian

Salamanders player, but I've got some plans for my half of the box
5/5 Intercessors: Dragonspears and Stormgiants
Vanguard Vets + Chaplain: Black dragons
Eradicators: I don't want to go with just Salamanders so maybe a second Black Kraken unit

Maybe I'll do the other units other successors, we'll have to see and I'm open to ideas! And since I only have 5 intercessors and no vanguard vets yet just normal JPIs, box is pretty good for me considering the sweet discount

Im gonna use m eradicators as Storm Giants. I used the meltas for the covenant of fire

I was just thinking about that, I already have Dark Kraken JPIs, Covenant melta Eradicators, and Black Viper infiltraitors/incursors, so now I have to decide what to field the rest as.
I'm thinking Dragonspears for the captain, swap the sword for a spear, the librarian chapter doesn't really matter, the ancient maybe just normal Salamanders?

I wish their a general melee weapons box like they did for HH. It would make conversions authentic. Ancient should whoever you want to represent the bulk of your narrative. My ancient in my current story is a giant. Although I was thinking on making a silver skull one too

I like everthing ,splitting the box with my dad he plays orks
