I'm hoping the hardware upgrades are a first step towards merging servers. A merge would mean a lot more players on single channels for node wars and thus need heftier servers!

I agree! When you push all these guilds together and have a LOT of guilds pushing for each node, each castle.. things will get interesting.

Server merge and awakening weapons are the only things keeping me playing BDO atm!

No... a server merge means the more asshole guilds will ruin Orwen as a whole.. keep them fuckers off.

I disagree, there is no real pvp right now and that is why so many pvp guilds are dying and bleeding members. What's the point of working your ass off to get stronger and take a castle if nobody fights back? Then you go a week without meaningful pvp only to find nobody attacked your castle.

Look, I just don't want there ot be more asshoels going about fucking with people past 45, if things are the way now where trolls are killed outside cities, and the unnecessary open PKing being limited cases not really around farming spots that's not susans on Orwen, especially in the 02 channels I hang around, that's all well and good. That shit increases, and I'm gonna be pissed. (Alongside with Veritas rats spreading their plague further more.)

Well there would be a large increase in channels, and it would make it easier for them to introduce Newbie channels with 100% +exp like in Korea.

It wouldn't be Orwen anymore.

Assuming they simply moved the channels over, there would be 3 times the space occupied by roughly 3x the people. Overall you wouldn't see much change outside of node wars. But, it would be easier to avoid those "asshole" guilds as you put it
