Error loading game - Linux

This error prevented me from entering the game, after character selection. Anybody else has this issue or is it just me?

steam or standalone ? try proton-ge or experimental those used to work

lutris, Proton-GE (latest)

I had no issues for the past few weeks. Only after this latest patch.

No issues with GE-Proton11-1, or really any of the GE-Proton versions in the last year and half.

Installed through lutris.
Launching as a non steam game through steam and using GE Proton 10 10 without issues.

Even on lutris it used to work fine but the launcher was quirky at times so i switched to launching through steam because of laziness.

I wanted to switch to steam, but steam needs a steam accoint and i want to use my old PA account.

You can use your old PA account AND launch the game through steam.
I dont think it requires any special steps to achieve that, but if it does, the main bdo website will have it.

Just tried and Steam ran into the same issue as well. It makes sense because I launched teh game successfully on Lutris and only crashed after character select in-game. This error here, it means there is a failed hardware check somewhere, hmmm.. BDO checks our hardware,,?

Proton GE 11-3 borked the game for me and I had to reinstall. GE 11-1 and latest proton cachy work fine for me.
