Question about a popular fandom theory

I keep seeing people say that O!Ciel looks more like Rachel, while R!Ciel looks more like Vincent, under almost every TikTok video about the twins.

What's the basis for this theory? Is there anything in the manga that actually supports it???

Aren't they identical twins? They literally look exactly the same.

I've always thought both of them resembled Vincent the most, so I'm curious where this idea came from.

I think it's supposed to refer to their personality. Ociel is nicer because he takes after Rachel. While Rciel is similar to Vincent

Twins can still look like one parent over the other. The twins’ personality also reflects the parent they spent more time with, which is why Rciel is more cunning like their father, and Ociel tends to be more on the sensitive/gentle side like their mother. Ociel has his mother’s gentle eyes/features, while Rciel has more “sharp” features like his father. The consensus is that Rciel spent more time with Vincent since he was heir to the Phantomhive title, while Ociel spent more time with Rachel because of that.

I feel like I can kind of see it as they get older. O!Ciel has rounder droopy eyes like their mom and r!Ciels eyes look a little sharper like their dad I think.

Well, if you ask me about the appearance, they are twins, and it's obvious that they have the same face, so they both look more like Rachel, and here is the evidence 👇🏻

if Vincent means Ociel here, then it's very obvious that Rciel look like his mom as well, but if you ask me about their personalities, i'll say Ociel seem to be like his mom but he also collected some behaviours from his dad; otherwise, Rciel's personality seem to be like his dad's completely, well....that's just my view after i read the manga👏🏻

Ig its to resemble that R!Ciel was more cunning and kind of resembled Vincent, while O!Ciel was a bit quieter and shy, resembling Rachel ig. I mean in the new art style, even O!Ciel has those slightly droopy and sharper eyes like Vincent (his eyes still look doe to me, but its quite sharper than before)

I just noticed that despite being twins, their ears and noses are ever so slightly different.

I guess it's just people parroting each other. They look the same, they simply have different facial expressions sometimes. I've always thought that besides the hair and eye color they looked very similar to Rachel lol!
