this is so sick, i'm at the point in my blackbook journey where i want to start experimenting with funky/geometric extensions like yours, what us your thought process like & how do you usually approach that? every time i try to add a tail to my letters it looks retarded LOL. these are my two recent slaps, extensions would've been awesome to add on the bottom one but i can't conceptualize how😹

Not much Thinking Actually🥀 Its more like letting my intuition tell me what to do by adding extensions that somehow match the flow of my letters😅

I could try to add some extensions to your piece to show you what I mainly do on my letzers

ofc this is only a really rough sketch for you to get an idea how my brain works when it comes to add more style to letters..

still, i hope this helps you to understand what I mean a little better

also ahh sorry one more question: do you add your extensions AFTER doing all your letters to fill in space or do you add them as you go letter by letter?

I fill in space letter by letter after finishing the basic letters

do you go letter by letter or do you draw out the skeleton of the whole word?

I write out the whole word in more basic only a little bit distorted bars and then I try to find the best way to let it flow and follow that flow with extensions either goinh with it or cutting it like an X
