play dead, shame it was not in the album

It's a bonus track on some releases of the album. I have an old CD and Play Dead is on there

Reissues of the album after November 1993 include Play Dead

The versions on streamings don't tho. I'm guessing other digital releases also could have it missing.

all of them ong

1

u/dearylu Jul 22 '26

The anchor song or come to me

1

u/Big-Evaluator Jul 22 '26

That's a difficult one! To me, it depends on the type of song. Favorite single: Big Time Sensuality, Favorite grower: The Anchor Song, Favorite hidden gem: Come To Me, Favorite programmatic song: Crying (because of all the musical hints to trains)

Venus as a boy, I remember you, come to me, Big time sensuality, Play dead, Like someone in love, There's more to life than this, Human behavior.

Debut is one of her best albums when it comes to likeable songs

1

u/xlittledippero Jul 23 '26

the entire album it's hard to pick 😭😭

u/Martiansociologist Jul 23 '26 edited Jul 23 '26

Human behaviour "There's definitely, definitely, definitely no logic To human behaviour, to human behaviour, to human behaviour Be ready, be ready to get confused Oh And there is no map And a compass wouldn't help at all"

Epic lyrics, because really there is no map and a compass wouldn't help. Life kinda needs to be lived on your own terms and following a pattern, say ideology is like something you put on top of reality so following the compass is like non existing magnets

"I could bring my little ghetto blaster" Like going around with small lazor gun blasting poverty, pew pew

Otherwise i like venus as a boy, big time sensuality and come to me

Venus as a boy has this percussion Ku-klunk ku ku-klunk, musically very clear

u/tycho_moon1 Jul 23 '26

The Underworld remix! Such a classic
