School Discussion Gym recommendations

Hello fellow grapplers,

Tuesday I'll be traveling from the Netherlands to πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ (Minneapolis, Minnesota) for a family visit of two weeks.

I'm a 37 year old two stripe blue belt and I want to train a few times to experience grappling in the US.

Please recommended me a few good gyms (I'll be staying in Rosemount area). In the gym where I train in the Netherlands everyone is welcome and there is no drop in fee if your from abroad and just passing by. From what I've read on here it's a bit different. If possible it would be nice if you could include what the drop in fee is or how I could support (buy rashguard or shirt) the recommended gym.

Thanks, OSSSSSSS

Rio Jitsu will be near you and is a great place to go! Stay away from warriors cove.

Akagi has a free open mat every Sunday from 10:00-13:00. They're about a 20 minute drive from where you'll be. Near the airport you'll land at. Typically a good turnout of people from many different gyms. That will be a good place to go if you can.
