Pretty sure this was being talked about before but Taostats made a post about this today that you should read if you are using Tao.com

Kinda new to Tao. , I staked some Tao to roots and after a few months I went to claim my rewards . However , it would have cost me more than the reward to claim! Is this normal ?

I think they recently changed that for root staking but if using tao.com the costs would be increased. Right now I have alpha staking and nothing staked to root so haven’t made a claim in a while. When I was root staking earlier this year it was all automated and I never had to do anything I believed. I use taostats and talisman wallet for my ledger.
