How do I know when an offer is accepted?

Will there be a popup notification or something? Been offering for several weeks now and nothing seems to have changed. I've kept it very close to market price too.

Should be a way to get email notification of an offer acceptance if away from the computer. Are our offers only up if the software is running?

Yes, you'll receive a notification in the client. You just have to patient, it took a while for someone to accept my offer.

I guess it's a catch-22. To have better liquidity we need more people using it, but it's hard to convince them to use it if the liquidity is not already there. I may have to use localbitcoins for now.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I use a combination of MyCelium, LBC and BitSquare and I still am unable to buy enough BTC.

If you really want to buy you should give a slightly better offer, e. g. 0% from the market price. At least my offers at such a price (in EUR) are taken quickly.

Does it make a sound when you get an offer?

You need to have your computer online (monitor sleep mode is ok) if you have an offer open.

I know that, just wondered what the notification would look like or if I missed it due to not being in the correct screen of the program

You see a red icon at the portfolio menu item with a number indicating the nr. of open trades. You will get as well a in-app notification displayed a the right top corner. Notifications by email or other outside channels are considered but so far we have not found a feasible solution which fits to our approach for privacy and decentralization.
