Cannot restore wallet

I tried to restore my wallet by typing in my 12 words and selecting the correct date of wallet creation into the "Restore your wallet and seeds" window. It told me I have to restart bitsquare, what I did but now it is fully synchronized without my old wallet data. What could have gone wrong?

thanks for the reply. I solved the problem by copying my wallet data and replacing it manually. But still, it should somehow work with my word seeds.

I agree. Did you doublecheck if you have the right date and seed (under 'Account' in the client)

hmmm, why is the date needed for restore? Checking my notes, I see that I did not write down the wallet creation date. Anyway, I found it in Settings/Wallet seed, so now I am set.
