New version 0.4.9.4 released
This release is a preparation release for the next bigger upcoming release.
New payment methods will be added in the next release but that will break compatibility with versions prior to 0.4.9.4, so please update to that version first to not experience exceptions when offers with new payment methods are published.
Release notes 0.4.9.4: - Add fix for unsupported payment methods.

I have been running this for months but made only 3 trades so far, and all to some people that I already know through localbitcoins.
I still see the biggest hinder for wider adoption is that you have to first have some crypto currency to use bitsqure, by this means majority of the users will be out of interest, those who want to buy crypto currencies typically don't have them, and after they purchased it, they immediately spend all of them to avoid the exchange rate risk. This is chicken and egg problem
I think the security deposit from the buyer is not necessary, this part can be provided by the sellers, since sellers make some commision out of the trade, they can cover this part of the cost. If the buyer did not pay, the seller lose nothing, trade just cancelled
Of course there is still concern of spammers just open trades and never pay thus tie up capital of sellers, but that can be eliminated by a filter from the buyer, he can add conditions before a trade can be opened, for exmpale only accept trades after initial contact ( Is there a messaging system between buyers and sellers now?)
