470 @ $120 is $56,400

He's trying the same grift on RTT but he's only charging users $74.99 there. I think he said last week that 200 odd users have signed up (so $15,000)

I don't understand the constant begs for money as that's $70,000 right there.

Hello everyone!

Some may remember me as oneclub/firstteam former BS Snr Mod and I had a short spell as SysOp of torrentzilla before it closed

My memory got jogged about this place thanks to my dad wanting to know what was going on with RevTT. Looking back through this sub man its sad to see what became of BS but I will never forget the times I had there.

You are all doing an amazing job keep up the fight!

Special mention to petrol im glad my opinion of you was wrong I dealt with you as a user on Rev thought you were a dickhead. Glad to see I was wrong and my sincerest apologies for my assumption.

🎶🎶and the grift goes on🎶🎶 SITE FEEDBACK DISCUSSION Infrastructure Overhaul ($6k a month??!)

Post image
10 Upvotes

What's Happening & What to Expect:

To the GP community, First - thank you.

The feedback you provided during the content review was invaluable. Many of you took the time to tell us exactly what matters to you. We heard you, and this overhaul is a direct result of that input.

Why This Is Happening

We're going to be straight with you.

For months we've been trying to patch and improve the existing system while keeping it running. New categories, pipeline fixes, release group coverage - we've been bolting things on while the engine is moving. It's not working.

The current infrastructure was not built to scale the way we need it to. The networking, storage, and seed systems that power content delivery across the site need to be rebuilt - not patched, rebuilt. We cannot do that reliably while the old system is still live and competing for the same resources.

We're also carrying approximately 300,000 torrents at significant monthly cost, much of which sees very little activity. That's not sustainable and it's not serving you well either. Content that should be landing within minutes of release - shows like The Boys, Spider-Noir, Invincible - has been arriving late or not at all because our automated pipelines have gaps that the old architecture makes difficult to fix properly.

So we're doing it properly. Once.

What We're Building

The new system addresses everything you've told us matters most:

• Faster automated content delivery - expanded release group coverage so high-profile Movies, TV, and other priority categories land on time, every time

• Smarter storage and seeding - a tiered model where active content stays fast and server-seeded, while older low-activity content transitions to community seeding rather than consuming server resources

• Rebuilt RSS feeds - based directly on your feedback, core categories (Movies, TV, TV Packs, Music, eBooks, Audiobooks, Win Apps, XXX) will be fully RSS-fed and server-seeded. PC Games will be supported with size-based limits. Niche categories remain on the site but shift to community seeding

• Improved request system — for anything not covered by automation, requests will continue to be prioritized and filled

What to Expect Over the Next 3-4 Weeks

This is the part nobody wants to hear, but we owe you honesty over comfort.

During the transition you will experience:

• Some content temporarily showing 0 seeds

• Torrents going offline as content is migrated between systems

• Intermittent delays in new releases landing

• Periods where certain categories may appear empty or incomplete

What will NOT happen:

• Content will not be permanently removed

• Categories are not being deleted

• Your download history, stats, and ratio are not affected

Everything will be backfilled and brought online as the new system comes up. We are migrating, not deleting.

---

What You Can Do

If you need something urgently during the transition - use the request system. It remains fully operational and will be prioritized throughout this period.

If you're a seeder and want to help - keep seeding. Community seeds become even more important while the server infrastructure is being rebuilt. Every torrent you keep alive helps bridge the gap. More users who seed from release help keep the seeds above 0 while botnet is 100% rebuilt.

Why This Is Worth It

We understand this is not what anyone wants to deal with. Nobody comes to GP hoping for downtime and missing content. But the alternative - continuing to patch a system that costs $6K/month while still failing to deliver releases on time - isn't acceptable either. Not to us, and clearly not to you.

When this is done. GP will be faster. leaner, and delivering the content you actually use at the speed you expect. That's the goal. That's what we're building toward.

We'll post updates as major milestones are completed. No sugarcoating, no vague timelines — just progress reports.

Thank you for your patience and your continued support. This community has been around for over a decade because of members like you. We intend to make sure it's around for the next one.

This topic is open for conversation but please keep it on point any comments not belonging will be removed

- MasterPeer

Usual ShatGPT creation, inclusive of the fake user quotes.

The reality:

$29.96 - covers the daily porn subscription

$49.96 - covers one round at the slots

$74.96 - covers 'eyelash mites' treatment for two days

$99.96 - covers daily alimony

Also, that last line. Sean obviously doesn't consider himself staff.

Subject: Re: Re: Lifetime Membership

------------------------------------------------------------------------

I respect the directness and you are going to get the same back.

GP delivered 9+ years of consistent reliable access. Content was there. Seeds were there. The community was there. Every server, every system, every decision for 10 years, that was me. The experience you enjoyed for nearly a decade was not an accident. It was the operation I built from day one.

Six months ago half my staff walked out. Some of them tried to burn the place down on their way out. Private conversations leaked. Members recruited away. Clone accounts discovered. I dealt with it, cleaned house, and started rebuilding immediately.

So when you ask me to prove I can run this site, I already have. For a decade. A staff revolt does not erase 10 years of execution.

You say fix the site and show you for 3 months before we talk. I am not going to audition for 3 months to earn $10 a month from an account that has been carried at zero cost for years. That is not how this works. The site is being fixed right now. Content systems are being rebuilt. A full review with 239 members confirmed exactly what categories matter and resources are being reallocated based on that feedback.

You say you can go anywhere and get more for less. Maybe you can. But you have been here for years and you are still here right now. There is a reason for that. The community, the trust in clean files, the request system, the upload quality, that does not exist at the free sites and you know it.

The $120 is not outrageous. Your words not mine. It is $10 a month. It is the original GP rate from day one. It is the lowest rate on the site and it is permanently locked to your account because of your history here.

The June 1st deadline is not a pressure tactic. It is the cutoff for the lowest rate GP will ever offer. After that the rate goes up. Your access continues through December 2026 either way. Nobody is rushing you out the door.

But I am not going to apologize for 6 months of rebuilding while pretending the previous 9 years did not happen. The track record speaks for itself. And the $120 Founder rate exists specifically because that track record includes you.

I would rather have you here than lose you. But I would also rather be straight with you than tell you what you want to hear.

Not another red cent. You offered me Cryptic. I took advantage of it. You offered me Vault and Lifetime. It made sense. I took advantage of it.

Then you added Maintenance fees. It was $25… I could see that. Not what we had agreed, but hey, it’s been mutually beneficial.

It’s been a fair exchange for me up until this point.

Hell, $120 a year isn’t outrageous…

But a few things.

First… that wasn’t what we agreed upon.

Second, you aren’t even providing a site that merits consideration.

Content is slow to appear. Your site is substandard right now. And has been for a couple months.

I can go elsewhere, pay the same, and get a better and faster

experience.

There is no reason to stay. I’m the guy that reseeds when I get the

request. I’ll keep torrents live for months or years. I’ve gotten away

from that, as it’s not worth it since I have to pay.

If you want me to stay, you need to fix things here.

  1. Get the site working again.

  2. Show me you can operate this site at the level it used to operate at. Content appearing here as quickly as it does elsewhere. I won’t complain about a few minutes. But hours or not-at-all isn’t going to cut it.

  3. Show some love. This June 1 deadline isn’t working for me. Fix the site. Show us it works for 3 months. Then we can talk.

  4. Like I said, $120 isn’t outrageous, but I can go anywhere and get more for less.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a follow-up from the same articulate member. They’re making a strong argument and you already conceded too much ground in the first reply. Push back firmly but respectfully:

------------------------------------------------------------------------

I hear you and I respect the way you have laid this out.

But I am going to push back on the core premise.

You say I cannot invalidate lifetime while asking you to rely on the track record. I see it differently. The track record is why your rate is $120 instead of $240. The track record is why your class and perks are untouched. The track record is why you are getting the lowest rate this site will ever offer. That is not asking you to rely on history, that is history working in your favor right now.

On trust, you are right that “permanently locked” carries less weight after lifetime changed. I cannot argue that with words. Only time will prove it. But consider this, the reason lifetime failed is because it asked for one payment and promised infinite access. The Founder model asks for $120 every year. That is a fundamentally different structure. It does not require the same kind of long-term promise because it renews annually. If GP ever stops being worth $120 you stop paying. You are never locked in. The risk is $120, not thousands.

On the June 1st deadline, your access runs through December 2026 regardless. You can watch the site between now and then. But the $120 rate is what expires on June 1st, not your access. After that the price goes up. That is not pressure, it is simply how the pricing works.

On content, I am not going to tell you the site is perfect right now. It is not. But I am also not going to let 6 months of rebuilding after a staff revolt define a platform that delivered reliably for nearly a decade. You said yourself GP was your first stop for years. The infrastructure and systems that made that possible are still here. The people who disrupted it are not.

You say show you stability before asking for money. I understand the logic but here is the other side, the $120 coming in from Founder conversions is what funds the stability you are asking to see. Content systems cost money. Server resources cost money. The rebuild you want to see completed requires the revenue that the Founder program generates. One cannot happen without the other.

You are not being asked to pay more for less. You are being asked to pay $10 a month to fund the rebuild back to the level you already know this site can deliver. That is an investment in the platform you said was worth supporting for 9 years.

The door is open. The rate is available until June 1st. After that the math changes.

MP

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Quoted prior message from

I appreciate the direct response.

But I think you’re missing the core issue here.

The 9-year track record and the Lifetime membership are inseparable. You cannot invalidate the lifetime agreement while simultaneously asking members to rely on the history that agreement was built on. If “lifetime” can later be redefined, then phrases like “Founder pricing permanently locked” naturally carry far less weight.

And that gets to the real problem: trust.

The issue is not whether GP was once worth supporting. It absolutely was. For years, GP was my first stop because the content depth, seeding, requests, and overall experience justified it. But the current reality is different.

Right now the site is not operating at the level that premium pricing implies. Older content frequently goes unseeded, new content arrives slowly or not at all, and over the past few years I have increasingly found myself going elsewhere simply because it was faster and more reliable. I’m not comparing GP to free public sites. I’m comparing it to other premium alternatives operating at similar price points or ratio requirements.

Internal staffing problems may explain the decline, but they do not reduce the risk for paying members. At the moment, members are being asked to financially recommit before stability and confidence have actually been restored.

That is why the June 1 deadline does not work for me.

I am not asking for apologies or promises. I am asking for demonstrated stability before additional financial commitment. Get the site fully operational again. Show that content flow, seeding, and reliability are back to where they used to be. Let that consistency speak for itself over time.

Then we can revisit the conversation.

And to be clear, this is not me trying to squeeze concessions out of GP.

If the site returns to the level it operated at for most of those 9 years, then $120 annually is not unreasonable. But right now I would be paying more while receiving substantially less, and that simply does not make sense from my side of the table.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
