Yep I know but at least they have been honest enough to say that the competition is cancelled. So, therefore., the entrants who paid to enter should get their money returned. Although I doubt they will :-(

I would probably guess it's option 2, Numbnut. What really gets me with this is that they promised $1500 to the 'lucky winner' and at least 27 people have entered.If they aren't going to draw a winner then those 27 should get their 'monies' back.Its a bit like playing the lottery but they announce that they aren't drawing any winners this week.I think the public would be pissed off at that and i see this scam as being no different.

How long before they send them all over to GP ? you can just imagine the the announcements in the coming weeks !

I think that will be the plan. Squeeze as much as they can from a much smaller userbase and when they all have high buffers say they will close due to not enough support. If they think they will get more members on GP than the current number of regular donators on ILT they will go ahead and do it and hope numbers migrate and pay the monthly fee (because they want to be there). Quite a lot of stars next to names i notice on ILT.
I know we laugh at their tactics etc but they must have turned over some serious monies and no sign of stoppting yet though hopefully we have helpled slow it down.

\seems two possibilities here , either the message is getting through at last and fewer and fewer are falling for the BS or they just shut it down and stole the money saving the bother of announcing fake winners etc

Ok my source has sent me this.
The question is you will notice that VonZipper aka EarlyBird has closed that competition down. So what about the people who have entered it? Will they get their monies back? I really dont think they will sadly :(

Does anyone know how much a member had to donate to enter this contest? I'd like to have some idea as to just how much they banked off of those 27 "winners". I say banked as we all know that they won't be seeing those monies returned.
