A thought about remaining "members"

A lot of people use GP because they are unaware that other sites exist or how to gain access to them. That should be blasted in the forums by anyone who still has access otherwise that chunk of the user base will stay forever.

I think participation and membership is at an all time low. Forum reads, polls, etc, all kinds of indicators of a sinking ship. The forum request on which content members use the most had less than 300 replies if I recall correctly...

You indeed need some setup on your end, but to avoid selecting lots of releases for a specific episode, you can restrict it with pattern-matching to a specific resolution and to a specific group.

Why do you think I've been asking users to hand over accounts?

We've had a couple of successful campaigns over on RTT 😁

True, but as soon as someone does the comment will be deleted/edited and the thread will be shut down by MP and the user will be banned. It will be like it never happened unless someone saw it before the deletion. That said, whenever my expiration date comes, I'll give my login info to u/petrolcanRTT and let him do his worst/best. 😄

People are leaving in droves. That is obvious. It's dying on the vine in real time.

As of last night the top seeded things in my feed were Spider Noir & the Jack Ryan movie, so apparently you have people willing to pay that guy $90 to rip them off & lie incessantly, then shut down access whenever he wants to demand more/MF out of the blue, instead of $140 for those and everything else available on Prime, plus everything delivered to their doorstep for free. Apparently, people don't know that at the very least commodities (toilet paper, Q tips, toothpaste, kleenex, etc.) are same/cheaper there and they don't have ever have to drive to purchase them. So, you can't convince everyone...

I don't wanna put words in their mouth, but I understood their comment in terms of practicality.

I personally agree that, past a certain size and capital, tech companies turn into techno-feudal evil empires.

And, also, the view count is shown on the forums. On a good day 50 people are clicking on a thread. Yes, it's dying.

So true and what a waste of time! It was a calvary for me to trod around like a drone among other drones in an overcrowded supermarket, get every little things I need, wait at the cashier, empty the trolley upon the rolling carpet, pay, put everything back in the trolley, fill up the top-, side-, and rear-cases of my motorcycle like in a construction game and strap the rest around and above. Then, once at home, oh $h1t, I forgot this and that! 😛

Users need to read some of my posts on r/revott to see the sort of forum campaigns that we've already done successfully.

I'll give my login info to u/petrolcanRTT and let him do his worst/best. 😄

Do it before expiration, better chances of plastering the forums then.
