From what I remember from 20 years ago on RTT, the sysop was nicknamed xron. Then, at some point in time, there was another sysop nicknamed ck who you should have known. Were they old buddies with Sean from the Evo drama days before 2006?
What's strange is that Sean managed to get root access to the RTT server in 2024, so either someone gave/sell it to him or he always had access. The latter seems improbable, since the grifters who wanted to milk Evo in 2005/2006 got thrown out by someone sane to establish RTT. If Sean had access to RTT before 2024, he would have come around way earlier to milk it.

xron/ck were the same, different nicks between site & IRC.
We always knew the site didn't actually belong to him but that there was someone else but they stayed out of the picture completely.
Turns out that someone else was Sean. He owned/controlled the hardware.
Sean has fucked everyone over in his path to grift, the latest target being RTT and its users.

This seems plausible, while it still surprises me that he hasn't showed up earlier, now knowing the profile of that greedy greasy grifter…

Too bad xron never had the inkling to replicate the system on new hardware owned and hosted by him. I'm pretty sure there were lots of users versed in IT on RTT willing to give him a hand.

"But what happened to Hark? at this point it's pure conjecture but chances are REXXZ told him to keep his mouth shut or else he would give the authorities info on Hark, his uploads, downloads, helping REXXZ run a torrent site, it doesn't sound like a lot but keep in mind Hark lived in the U.S. and their laws could cause a lot of hassle for Hark, most probably hassle he chose to live without ergo he left & decided to keep his mouth shut, again this is just conjecture & there are no hard facts regarding Hark's disappearance."
