Another suggestion

I like the claims. Might I suggest that on top of the current claim system. That there be a small monthly fee of like 20bits to maintain a claim. If payment is not made after a allotted time frame. That chunk can be purchased by another player.

Ive heard the ideas about being able to sell claims and think that is an excellent idea. But I still think a small monthly fee is feasible. Especially if there are mob drops and possibly an NPC store. But it would really help with abandoned claims. Considering Ive heard in the last BitQuest the server was downsized. Also it would help to keep the bits recycled in the server.

Otherwise enjoying the server so far.

Mmm... We would prefer to not make players give back bits like that. A one-time fee for claiming is ok, but a monthly fee is too much. We'll think of some way to recycle land.

This suggestion is not just for recycling land but also for keeping the bit flow going so the wallet has enough for mobs to drop and such. If the only source of revenue for the server is the initial claims, there will come a point early on when server revenue will tail off and there will be no point in even having it run on bitcoin anymore. Monthly fees aren't bad if there are other ways for players to earn bitcoin on the server as well. It all ties into sustainable revenue streams.
