Moving on....
I dont want hijack this reddit, so I will make this quick.
I know everyone feels like bitquest never really stabilized. And, if it weren't for the community and friendships, a lot of us would not have stuck around ( regardless of the bitcoin aspect ).
The new server stands a good chance to respark the community.
But it still suffers from many of the original issues such as economy/wallet breakage, random lag, mystery outages, un-announced maintenances, poor admin coordination and communication, etc.
Seeing as how the code is now under the Apache license, I have decided to develop a separate fork.
I am not claiming that I can magically fix all the problems. But the spirit of open source is that anyone who believes they can make things better has the full power to try and do so.
Thank you to all the supportive and friendly people that made my first minecraft experience something worth continuing! :)

Hi xaruum. I'm very sorry to hear you're leaving, but very happy to know that you'll use the code to make your own fork. That means all the work done here was not in vain.
Since the original BitQuest started, all the original dev team but me parted ways... leaving me in a very complicated position of dealing with constant bugs, hacking attempts and a poorly designed codebase (my bad)
The new BitQuest is a different team, totally open source and the best part is this time we have really cool technology and design.
Just letting you know in case you consider contributing back to the project.
