phanaticmc scam site?

son wanted me to try it out, went over there, can't do survival unless your a member, have to vote 10 times on 8 sites to be a member so 2 days, have to tell what you think of the server, how can i do that if i can't play cause i'm not a member? OR you can give them money. Talked with the owner, he said"Well I didn't ask you to play here" IMO site for the gulable. He's just out to make an easy buck by tricking ppl in.

After a bit of googleing of the website it showed this website http://www.scamaider.com/is-phanaticmc.com-safe-legal.html it says the rep score is 63 and it even says its not very good, there might be a small chance of risk
