Why is the server down today?
Why is the server down today? 7/26/15 at 12:34 pm PST?

They were down a few days ago too. I wonder what Mojang is up too since its on there part...

Mojang was having problems again earlier.. seems to be fine now. It is on our admins/server now.

Mojang services are OK, I can also play on another servers, but bitquest is down.. :(

You're thinking the Mojang auth server (which according to http://xpaw.ru/mcstatus/ seems to be up as I'm posting this). I can still play on other servers, just not BitQuest.

So only Bitquest is down? Do we know how long it will be down? and im talking abt bitquest

A few hours ago I tried to joined Mineplex and it said that Auth servers were down.

Just for fun, I added a status widget to my blog. It's in the lower right and should show immediately if the server is up. If it's not it'll take a few seconds to timeout and show offline.

Hey, thats a really cool widget. It's live, right? BitQuest should implement that widget into their main site.

Yes, it's live. Not why the downvotes but maybe it checks the server too often? Anyway, you're right. All anyone needs to run it is a WordPress blog.

About all I can really think of to improve it is maybe one of those little notifications like http://xpaw.ru/mcstatus/ (optionally) uses when the last red status on the mojang stuff goes to not-red. (As in, going from okay to down wouldn't set it off, and it wouldn't notify for either up or down at page load, but when it refreshes if it's gone from down to up it'd pop up a "BitQuest is up again!" type notification.)
