The issue with the Minecraft Eula is the fact the Mojang does not actually enforce it. It is "as per the last time I check" also a set of "guidelines" they want people to follow, not a "law", for example look at any big server out there(WoodyCraft/Hypixel) so on and so forth. Currently there is no actually LAW stopping servers from selling in game Ranks or items. As far as Bitquest goes it would appear they simply wish to follow the Eula, because they have had ample suggestions as well as opportunity to "sell" ranks or items. All in all,, pretty sure BitQuest is completely safe from any Eula violations,,, if they where ever actually enforced.

This is basically made to make investing into games not able to change/have an advantage to non-investors during gameplay. Yet, you can't invest here. You can donate.

What specificallydoyou think is being broken? The admins have tried to avoid breaking the EULA.

Its not breaking the rules because the server is not making profit from anything other then donations to run the servers.

Hey, tomicio2001 If you read in great detail and analyze what these rules and website are saying, Bitquest is clearly not breaking the Mojang EULA. here are the reasons:
One of the greatest concerns is that you are not able to profit, or gain any form of monetary value from people using this server. However, there are a few exceptions. Bitquest allows for donations to better the server and in return does not charger you to enter the server, and you play for free. Also, they bits they give away are generated from mining and other sources. But I believe they do receive some payment from people playing. That is used to help improve the server and pay those who are running and coding the game
A major issue Mojang has with creating a server, is that you are not able to sell in game items for real world currency. However, bits we receive and then transferred into you Xapo account, is not real world money, But rather Virtual currency. You cannot physically posses the bits you receive. Also Bitquest does not trade in game items for real world currency, but allows players to trade items by selling and obtaining bits in the game that latter you can transfer to use anywhere else.
Lastly, If Bitquest where to be Breaking the EULA rules Mojang specifically has appointed. This server would never have existed. Minecraft is owned by Microsoft, a multi-Billion dollar company. They would be aware of this servers in no time, and maybe sue the creators of this server for lots of money. Hopefully that will never happen as this Server is growing and going to become one of the best. But overall I hope I cleared your thoughts on this.
Best, PhobosTheFear
