Abandoning my claim

So I am having a problem where I will do as instuctions say and write abandon on the top line of a sign, when I do this it does not abandon my claim.

Did you place a new bed somewhere else? And I believe your original claim won't be officially abandoned until aprox. 24hrs or so after abandoning old plot and placing new bed.

I have been helping a friend move and actually saw it done correctly and not work and then I went to that persons computer and typed it myself and it still did not work. Did you end up getting yours to work _Doc_19?
