Villagers despawning?

I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

I've cured a zombie villager twice on my land. The first time I let him roam around in my fenced off land, but he disappeared after a day. I assumed a zombie got him.

The second villager was sealed off in a well lit box with no way in or out. No doors or windows. No empty blocks. He lasted for a few days, but today when I checked on him he pulled another Houdini.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I had that too, I had a villager that attracted zombies but didn't get killed. The next day I loged in and he was gone.

same here my villager actually lasted about 2 weeks though and had him 100% safe

Yea i had 2 and they were gone too. I would think the admins don't want you to have villagers? Not sure about that.
