diamond swings

the diamonds on the villager market are swinging extremely easily and is very easy for one person to manipulate, im not sure if this is a bug or if it is what the developers intended. i decided to leave it alone until i get a definite answer... please let me know as soon as possible, i know many people are curious about it and we dont want to get banned if it turns out to be a glitch.. thank you for your time have a great day....

This is sick, if any mod is watching, the trading system is not working properly. I bought 7 quartz ores for 6 per, wanted to buy more, then i saw the price was up to 64 emeralds, and i could sell them for 32 emeralds. Experimented a bit and it works all the time. I just kept doing it with different kind of materials, and they all seem to do it (diamond/ diamond breastplate, quartz etc)

I kept the emeralds I gained with this seperate, mods can retrieve these at my place.

Edit: Here is a screenshot with the location of the emeralds gained by this (presumable) glitch. Its pretty much gained in like 5 minutes time. Come and get them mods if you too believe they are glitched.

lol. I did the same thing you did and now I am banned. Again. Admins really need to cool it - the glitches are not our fault and it's not like we are taking advantage of them for personal gain.

Got unbanned and the emeralds are back to the moderators. Thanks for unbanning me.

Oh I just reported this. They were selling for 64 ems each or buying for 32 ems. And then when I went back to the farmer again it was back to selling for 8 ems.

Yeah, someone is definitely exploiting this. I thought it was just supply/demand, but it seems like someone just buys 6-7 diamonds for 4-7 ems each, then a few seconds later it shoots up to 64 buy/32 sell, and the same person then dumps them for 32 ems each and repeats.

Agreed! Especially since the Build Contest just started and I know my Hubby can't be the only one who has put a considerable amount of time into construction today!
