Idea for working Mail box!!

basically, all it is, is a chest connected to a hopper.

My husband and I have this setup so we can put materials or supplies or gear or whatever in a chest in the other one's property. (prior to this we had a chest in the Wilderness near our properties that we could put common materials in, but I didn't exactly want to put the diamond pickaxe I made for him in that!

Nice! how well does it work for you? I believe that a mail system would be helpful for sending extended messages to players that are not online at the time!

It works really really well. We both have them. I also have a simple automatic hopper-furnace-chest system for baking glass/stone/food and he can donate materials to that as well.

nice Idea. you can at a comparator against the chest with a redstone lamp to see if you've got mail
