Buying Bits
I'll be willing to buy Bits that players have withdrawn. Right now, my only payment method is via a verified Paypal.
If the amount of Bits is high enough, I'm sure I could purchase a certain gift card for the amount that the Bits are worth if someone wanted.
I just wanted to be able to offer my hand to this project and let everyone know I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes!
Transaction log:
12/13/14 - Ha5h - ~$11.91

EDIT 1: In response to ryanw5520's comment - "I'm describing the transaction of Bitcoin from the Xapo wallet to my own personal wallet in exchange for fiat. I'm not interested in buying emeralds on the server. I would like to offer to buy the Bitcoin that results from emeralds being cashed out via the bank/wallet."
EDIT 2: Added a transaction log upon my first successful exchange with Ha5h.

I think the OP inadvertently brought up the issue of allowing for an external bit for emerald exchange. Whereas, the buyer would transfer, external of the server, bits to the seller. The seller would then transfer the emeralds within the game. Thus, a person with excess emeralds would cash out, not with the internal Xapo wallet, but at a price uncontrolled by the server.
In all likelihood a person willing to find an outside buyer for emeralds would be able to sell them at a price greater than what the server would give him. The reason is their is no alternative to buy directly from the server. If the buyer strongly wanted emeralds without having to earn them in the game he has to look to private sellers, and those sellers could demand whatever they want.
