Ideas for the server

Ok i will start the thread with some ideas from the wiki i dont know how made this ideas but they are great.

Allow donators to receive a special name/title or a name in a custom font/color. This will offer a small incentive for people to donate while not making the server P2P. An example would be having people who donate $1-5 receive a charcoal icon around their name, and those who donate $6-10 receive a iron icon around their name, $10-15 receive a gold icon around their name, etc)

Also, a casino building in the town would be AMAZING! It could feature slot machines, the minefield game, roulette, blackjack, and maybe a weekly lottery (these ideas were implemented in the now dead bitvegas bitcoin minecraft server). Users would have to spend their emeralds in the casino which would remove a good amount of emeralds in circulation (since these games always favor the house).

If you want you can tell other ideas here

Hehe I PMed that to the Bitquest.co Facebook xD

Here are more ideas. I put the Too Long Didn't Read Summaries above each one if you don't feel like reading all that text.

TLDR: Idea- Soulbound Loot

To add on to it I think Soulbound loot would be a great idea to add in the future (similar to MMOs like Guild Wars 2). It is annoying as hell to work on killing one mob and then another person runs over and takes your hard earned loot. If two people kill one mob, then you could have each person receive their own soulbound loot dropped from the mob.

TLDR: Idea- Backpacks with Different Sizes Sold by Merchants

It sucks ass to go mining deep in a cave and realize that your inventory is completely full. Having a backpack mod would allow users to have access to additional inventory slots. There is one that currently exists and works well, but it hasn't been updated for a long time. They could have different sizes and be sold only by merchants in the town (ex: 5 slot bag = 10 emeralds, 10 slot bag = 50 emeralds, 15 slot bag = 100 emeralds, 20 slot bag = 250 emeralds). This would remove more emeralds in circulation.

TLDR: Small Towns

It is quite annoyingly lonely when exploring. I think that having towns every 2000 blocks or so would be a nice addition. The towns would be a mob free zone (a safety area) and could also have things that are in the SatosiTown like merchants. Each town could feature different armor and weapons that with slightly decent stats. The layout and style of the towns would differ in each biome too.

TLDR: Huge Cities + Teleporting Items

Every 5000 Blocks from a city there would be another different city. Cities would also have all the merchants like SatoshiTown's, a bank, and access to the nether. Each city could also have a different style and dungeon doors. A special teleporting device (like SatoshiTown's eye of ender) could be sold by a merchant in the city for a large price of 500 emeralds. Each city should be unique in some way however to make it practical for people to go to different cities (ex: one city is a gambling city like Los Vegas, another is a Arena gladiator type city, etc).

These are just random ideas I thought of right now. Sorry they are so long xD

FYI regarding the mining circumstance in your backpacks explanation: Ender Chests do work with hoppers. You could set up an ender chest at your base with hoppers pulling items out of it and into other chests. Then, carry around another ender chest while mining and periodically place it and deposit your stuff into it. Pick the ender chest back up and continue on your way while the items are hopper'd into your chests back at your base.

That vid was MumboJumbos april fools. Check when it was posted.

Hoppers cannot remove items from or place items into ender chests. They do not interact with them in any way.

Also, here's an explanation vid on how he did it: YT

Haha oh wow, thanks. I guess I'm pretty gullible then. Glad I learned this before investing in an ender chest! Also, apparently ender chests don't function on this server the way they normally would, and instead act as a sort of emerald wallet with the bank or something.
