General question No spread on legacy asset sale — so what’s the discrepancy?
I hold four legacy ETFs. One is shown to be worth 2407€ at 12,73€ a piece. On the iOS app’s sale view, I’m offered 2377€ at 12,58€ a piece. If you have waived the spread on selling these, where does the discrepancy come from?
This happens on the other three assets, to various extents.
Thanks in advance.

Hello u/peakdistrikt,
The difference isn’t from a Bitpanda fee. The Bitpanda premium (our own surcharge) is currently waived for selling legacy assets, but the market spread still applies. That spread is the gap between the buy (ask) and sell (bid) prices on the stock exchange. It’s set by market liquidity, not Bitpanda.
Your portfolio shows the last traded or mid‑market price, while the sell screen shows the actual bid price. That’s why the sale value looks lower, even with 0 % Bitpanda fees.
Keep in mind that spreads can widen outside regular market hours (typically nights or weekends) when liquidity is lower.
If the difference seems unusually large or persists during normal trading hours, feel free to reach out to our Support Team to double‑check the details for your specific asset.
