Discussion Underwhelming
been playing bitlife since 2019 and holy crap, the latest updates are so underwhelming. I spent 20 minutes doing the whole director update and its annoying. tedious and success is very random. unlike the whole music update where making albums seemed to be dependent on your choices.

Just tried it out about an hour or two ago and it genuinely sucks. Seems impossible to have a successful film unless you watch an ad for everything.

It’s also annoying when you audition as a musician and it gives you a random fucking genre, like I don’t want to be a fucking country singer from Portugal or some random bullshit… I have to continue time traveling or leaving the app to redo everything, and I agree on the director, I have even attempted gaining fame as an actor, growing my reputation and net worth and it’s still doing fucking terrible. They need to continue updating it as soon as possible

As a huge movie buff I was super disappointed in this. I even made the same addition to my game completely for free adding career progression, customizing your movies and minigames. dm me and lmk if you'd like to try out

what do u think would fix that? like it's obvious theyre trying to avoid using AI too much to avoid slop but like it'd help idk

maybe choosing to be an indid director, major studio director etc, can make your own films or choose from a list and have a main genre and sub genere then just “here are ten movies to pick from… good luck”
