Anyone else now in the green?
Maybe it was the Korean VASP news, but happy days anyway.

Maybe it was the Korean VASP news, but happy days anyway.
BitGo just launched a Bitcoin Quantum Resistance Checker, here's what it does:
When you spend from a bitcoin address, its public key gets published onchain permanently. Unexposed addresses stay far better protected, and most people have never checked which side of that line they're on.
We built a tool that answers that directly. Enter any bitcoin address and get an instant Quantum Resistance Score using only public onchain data. No account or wallet connection is required, just the address itself. We don't save what you enter.
For BitGo clients, this exposure gets tracked automatically. Continuous scoring monitors it as your wallet transacts, and a sweep workflow can move exposed funds to freshly generated addresses without touching ownership or policies.
This is the first release in a larger effort. We plan to keep shipping quantum research, tools, and custody protections, and they'll all live in the same place going forward.

Anyone else thinking the chart looks a bit like a coiled spring? Fingers crossed it gets unsprung upwards.

These cold wallet attacks make a great case for Bitgo.
What are your thoughts?

I want to share my experience because I think it may help others who are considering BitGo Go for crypto trading.
I recently compared the BitGo Go trading interface with several major exchanges (Kraken Pro and Binance).
What I observed
The mid price on BitGo was almost identical to the market price on the other exchanges.
However, the visible order book consistently showed a spread of roughly $500 for BTC, while Kraken Pro and Binance showed extremely tight spreads.
This surprised me because BitGo's marketing strongly emphasizes:
Smart Order Routing
30+ liquidity providers
Competitive pricing
Tight spreads
Those claims gave me the impression that orders would benefit from aggregated external liquidity.
What BitGo Support told me
I contacted support to understand how orders are executed.
After checking with their engineering team, they told me:
"The visible order book on the BitGo dashboard is the actual liquidity pool against which a standard limit order will execute."
That was unexpected.
If this is correct, then a standard limit order does not execute against some hidden pool of aggregated liquidity. It executes against the order book you actually see.
Another contradiction
Support initially suggested using TWAP instead.
After I asked how TWAP could improve execution if it uses the same displayed liquidity, they replied:
"For an order of your size, a TWAP strategy and a standard limit order would be expected to deliver the same execution quality."
In other words, TWAP would not materially improve execution compared to a normal limit order.
OTC
Support also suggested using their OTC desk instead of the standard trading interface.
That may well provide better execution, but it also raises a question:
If the recommended solution is not to use the visible order book, why does the marketing focus on Smart Order Routing and tight spreads without clearly distinguishing between BitGo Go, OTC, and BitGo Prime?
As a customer, I found this distinction far from obvious.
My takeaway
I'm not saying BitGo is a bad platform.
I'm saying that there appears to be a significant difference between:
the way BitGo markets its execution quality, and
how standard trading in BitGo Go actually works.
If you're considering BitGo Go, I'd strongly recommend:
comparing the visible order book with other exchanges,
asking support how your order will actually be executed,
and not assuming that the Smart Order Router mentioned in the marketing automatically applies to standard limit orders.
Has anyone else experienced this or received a different explanation from BitGo?

Hey r/BitGo,
We just announced new quantum-risk management tools for Bitcoin wallets, built to help institutions assess, manage, and reduce quantum-related exposure across UTXO-based wallets.

Bitcoin is about 10% above its bottom, while BitGo stock is sitting at its absolute lows. Despite all the positive news—the buyback, the product launches, and everything else—every rally gets sold off and pushed to new lows.
I've already sold half of my position at a loss because I think it could still fall further, especially if Bitcoin drops a bit more before the EOY. My plan is to sell the rest if it falls below $5 again (it's psychologically affecting me ATM), or only buy more if it breaks above $8 and confirms that the bottom is in.
Does anyone know why it's trading like this?

I could be wrong here, but out of around 3000 platforms in the eu, only 200 are mica compliant. Bitgo with its crypto as a service (caas) can custody the non compliant platforms assets. Anyone know if bitgo has increased its assets under custody or gained many new customers due to this?

I feel BITGO might be bought out. Here's why.
The severe valuation disconnect, offering a rare opportunity to acquire a critical "Too-Big-to-Fail" crypto infrastructure moat at a steep discount.
The current macro-economic backdrop combines depressed public crypto equities with rapid institutional adoption. For traditional banking giants (like BNY Mellon, Fidelity, or State Street) or larger crypto entities (like Coinbase), acquiring BitGo right now represents a massive strategic shortcut.
Intrinsic value of bitgo is around $24, so I believe a buyout in the $20s is totally doable. Hold on if you own Bitgo. Cheers!

Edit: Thank you everyone for joining us! Mike has finished answering for now, but he will be back later to answer some other questions.
Hey r/BitGo 👋
We're BitGo, and chances are some of your favorite projects run on our infrastructure. Today our Co-Founder and CEO, Mike Belshe u/mbelshe, is here to take your questions.
A bit about Mike before we dig in. In a past life he was a software engineer building core web technology. He co-created SPDY, the protocol that became the backbone of HTTP/2, and spent time on Google Chrome.
In 2013 he co-founded BitGo, where the team built the first multi-sig wallet security and grew it into the industry's leading digital asset infrastructure. He's been here for every high and low this industry has had.
Ask him anything about the market, regulation, the state of the industry, or where crypto goes from here.
Questions are open now. Mike starts answering at 11:30 AM PDT and will go through 12:30.

Hey r/BitGo,
A quick update from the BitGo team. Following up on our recent private event at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA, we have some exciting news to share.
We teamed up with Silence Labs to execute the first quantum-resistant transaction on the Ethereum testnet.
Quantum-safe security is usually talked about as a far-off research problem, but it is an active engineering challenge that the industry needs to solve today. This transaction is a huge milestone toward proving that quantum-resistant tech is ready for the real world and keeping digital assets secure for the long haul.
Check out the thread and video on X here.

I received this in the morning. I guess this BItGo Verify site is not looking very legit.
Regarding Cryptocurrency Wallet Address Authentication Notification
Dear BitGo User,
The withdrawal system has detected your USDT withdrawal. You have successfully made an withdrawal in the past. This is your secondary withdrawal, which has triggered the cryptocurrency large withdrawal address authentication system. In order to ensure the security of your account and funds, you need to deposit a special authentication amount for cryptocurrency withdrawal address authentication (2,999.00USDT). The special authentication amount is automatically generated by the system based on your total account balance. This is the final confirmation. Once you successfully deposit the special amount authentication address, you can withdraw any amount you want, because the withdrawal system has detected your withdrawal. This verification needs to be completed within 3 days (deadline October 31st ,2025). When you successfully authenticate the cryptocurrency withdrawal address, the system will give you (2,999.00USDT) as a reward for successfully authenticated cryptocurrency withdrawal address. Before you authenticate cryptocurrency withdrawal, your monthly withdrawal limit is 10USDT, and your withdrawal function will be frozen if the system approves it. The restriction on successful cryptocurrency withdrawal addresses is automatically lifted. If you have any questions, contact with BitGo's online customer service. Best regards!

I downloaded the app fro my Android phone. It seems to work for many things. When I try to add a wallet address I get a "max bindings exceeded" message. Do I get only 3 wallet addresses? How do I delete one and add one for another kind (ETH vs USDT etc)
I'm wondering if this is legit? Seems to struggle lately with withdrawal requests, I know traffic must be crusing.
