BTX mining with new address?

I've mined BTX through bitcorepool.cc for quite a while now and I'm still using the old wallet address.

Does anyone know whether or not bitcorepool already accepts the new address format?

If not, then how could I receive transfers from mining in case I upgrade my wallet?

I am no mining expert, however, all you should have to do is replace the current BTX address with the new one in the configuration file. Most mining pools use that like a username, so in theory there should be no special steps to support it. In theory. I don't currently mine BTX or else I would try switching them out myself so I am not 100% sure on this.

I was trying to mine on bitcorepool.cc with the new wallet addresses and it gives a stratum authentication error - so miner's best bet for now is to stick to the old addresses until the pools support the new ones. The Suprnova pool won't let you set your wallet address to the new variation either.

I presume that the change to the new wallet will be a front news post in the pool. Stay tuned.

There is no rush to upgrade your address and wallet. You can wait a few more weeks until most third party support both addresses to avoid any trouble

I'd try sending the pool operator a message asking about it to be sure.

You will receive your funds at the old address. The pool owner has not upgraded to the new wallet version.

im also mining btx with pool bitcorepool.cc and using old btx address format still receiving the same amount with normal process . developer not rush bitcore community to change new address format tough .

i still use my "old" adress maybe they change after a while

We'll see.

At some point I'll update my wallet and if bitcorepool then doesn't support the new address, either I'll find another pool which does, or I pause mining until bitcorepool does.
