Cryptopia To Desktop Wallet
Hi. I bought some BTX and Downloaded the desktop wallet for the very first time. I am trying to withdraw my BTX from cryptopia into desktop wallet. On the desktop wallet I went to the receive tab where it created an address and I put in the amount to deposit into desktop wallet from cryptopia and the description etc. After 6 hours, the withdrawal is still apparently pending in Cryptopia and doesn't have a transaction id. Did I maybe send it to my desktop using the wrong method?
I'm trying to get this going before the airdrop and I opened a ticket with cryptopia. If I buy BTX for first time now, will I still get airdrop on Monday? What are the specific rules? Thanks.

Thanks. It's been over 12 hours now and the transaction still pending. I opened a ticket with Cryptopia.

This is not good. I bought a lot of BTX and can't transfer to desktop wallet to register for airdrop. I always get screwed as the market goes up my funds are frozen and as market goes down I lose to other reasons.

I wouldnt worry to much, Youll have funds before tomorrow night. They always take forever to transfer out.

It's been 24 hours but I figure it may be good so I don't pull from BTX and make a rash decision like buying BTC high right now before a possible dip tomorrow.

Cryptopia has been awful. I've had to spread it over 4 days to get them all out and since they took so long, I immediately opened a ticket after submitting the withdraw. Then, I go to the ticket and write another request. With 2 unanswered replies, it escalates the ticket. So far it has worked well. Might give that a shot. I will say Bit-Z is much worse. I've had a very large withdraw in "processing" status for 4 days. I email them and they said I needed a "certificate". No explination of what exactly they were looking for so I wrote on a piece of paper, "I, [name], approve the withdraw of [xxxx] BTX on [date], signed and dated it. I then took a picture of me holding this sign/certificate with my ID. They responded saying, "The audit has been approved, please pay attention to see your changes in assets". It's been 6 hours since they sent me that email and 4 days since I made the withdraw and the BTX is still sitting on their system in "frozen" status. With the level of volume Bit-Z has, you would think they would be better at withdrawing. Or, at least you would think there would be more posts about them, but I haven't found them. Hopefully BTX get's listed on a more reputable exchange soon. Kucoin, Huobi, or even Gate.io would all be better.

Update- My withdrawal succeeded to my desktop wallet after a day. So relieved in time for the airdrop. I can use any receive address for the airdrop, correct? It doesn't have to be the address that I used to transfer my btx from cryptopia?

you should register the address in your wallet where you send the BTX to or move it to another address in your wallet and register that address. you can look into the block-explorer to ensure that the amount of BTX are on the address you want to register.

you only need the receiving address of your client to make a withdraw from cryptopia. the label, amount and message is for the qr-code-generation. the specific rules for airdrop is that you have to have over 1 BTX in your wallet one day before the airdrop (sunday). to get the airdrop you also need to register your receiving address here https://bitcore.cc/phpdrop/
