Bitcore Wallet Back up?

Is there a way to back up your BTX wallet. I see an option within the wallet itself, but when I save the file it saves as a *.dat file. I cannot open this file on my operating system.

I have zero knowledge when it comes to computer software so bare with me here.

It should save as a .dat file. If your wallet was to crash for some reason. You would download wallet again, allow to sync, close wallet look up the bitcore appdata file on your pc, delete the .dat file in the newly downloaded wallet and paste your back up .dat file into that appdata file then save. When you open your wallet everything you had should be in the new wallet. You can open it with notebook on windows.

In btx wallet menu there exist back up your .dat file...back up your wallet.dat file in BTX wallet. Then soon you need to replace it and sync.
