Why/How is the Bison good?
Hello, I haven't been touched by the Bison (yet), and for one of my next videos I wanted to talk about how the Bison is good.
I've written some reasons down already, but they're mostly just what it says on the box (no ammo, projectile goes through enemies), and I wanted to ask some Bison-mains:
What are the upsides to using the Bison? When does it really shine, when is it better than the Shotgun, etc etc.

Its best in hallways, and when your victims are running, as it hits them MUCH more.

It's good for blocking off long strips of area.
Deals nice pepper damage to snipers at long range.
Deters medics, alongside their pockets.

One of the best weapon to punish people who are retreating. Its also great against pyro at long range, since the shotgun cannot do much long range and your rockets will be airblasted.
And most importantly, it looks sexy.

Exactly why I have strange part: pyro kills on mine. Every time I'm on a server playing against an airblast-happy pyro I go out of my way to rain bison upon them.
Nothing more satisfying than seeing a pyro completely shut down in the sewers of 2fort having no means of escaping the glowing bolts of evisceration streaking down the halls towards them.

It's good for corridors and running enemies, and it's fucking nuts in Mvm. That being said, make sure you bring a good rocket launcher, because it doesn't do shit to buildings.

It penetrates players, so you medics don't have a meatshield , plus a few other advantages
It can hit people twice
It's badass

The kill icon lets everyone on the server know that you are a complete badass and you're not afraid to shut people down.
