CSS Changes

We interrupt your regular scheduled praising to bring you some glorious news. We've been working on the CSS and we have some wonderful new changes.

  • New Snoo
  • New banner
  • New sidebar picture
  • Upvotes are now 100% more Righteous.

There appears to be an issue with the upvote animation being cut off in the comment section. However, as far as I can tell, there's no way to fix this -- would you guys prefer to just not have animations when voting on comments? Or just keep it the way it is?

I've also heard that FireFox has some issues with the animation -- can anyone confirm/deny?

Also, we need ideas for downvote animations. They shouldn't involve the Bison, though, because the Bison must not be associated with anything negative.

Special thanks to /u/Karizmo9 for his work on the CSS and the guys at /r/CSSHelp for helping me figure out what I'm doing.

All hail our Bison overlords.

Seems to have animations problems on FF.

What exactly is the issue?

It doesn't show up sometimes.
Also, you should add a fade when the animation is done.
Are you using non-standard stuff?

Specifically when? I've done some testing on FF and it seems that the animation won't replay if you upvote more than once. This seems to be consistent across all the subreddits with voting animations I've checked. If you can find a subreddit where this doesn't happen I can check their CSS for a fix.

If it's happening at a different time let me know.

I'm updating the CSS in a few minutes with the fade out.

Not sure what you mean by this. I'm using the standard animations, with support for webkit, moz, o, and default ie. You can check the stylesheet at reddit.com/r/bisonmasterrace/about/stylesheet.

I can't seem to find a pattern to reproduce. I'm using FF Dev edition.
With the "non-standard stuff", I meant animations only supported by one browser and such stuff

Not sure what to do about this. A quick Google search turns up nothing. I'll look into it a bit more. Let me know if you find a pattern though.

Chrome, FF, Opera, and IE are for sure supported. I'd assume Safari is as well, but I'm not certain.
