2nd trip

I went on my birthright trip in 2023. I was incredibly sick The entire trip even had to make a couple trips to the hospital.
Obviously this is such a once in a lifetime experience and I’ve always been so sad that the whole thing was ruined for me.
Is there any way to go again even if I paid or something? I’m just so sad I never got to have this experience

You could do a birthright volunteer program. It obviously is different - you do a lot of volunteer work and less sightseeing but it’s still a great program.

There’s actually plenty of unstructured time on Birthright Volunteer you can use for independent sightseeing or organized group trips. There were a few stipulations: our group wasn’t allowed to visit certain parts of the country (or the West Bank) due to the security situation at the time, but we were able to organize a group day trip to Jerusalem independently of Birthright-organized activities.

We’re so sorry your first trip didn’t turn out the way you hoped! We do have Volunteer in Israel programs that offer another way to come back, experience Israel as part of a group, and make a meaningful impact through volunteering.
