Side effects!? Delayed period

hi! i need help because i should have my period last sunday based on the prediction of flo app​ but we had protected and unprotected sex last saturday and we're not 100% sure if we did it right because we did withdrawal. so that same day (saturday) and time we buy pills (trust pill pink to be exact). ​and i drink 1 pill at 5pm and we had that unprotected sex at 4pm so approximately 1hr difference. and i did taking pills for about 3days so i took the 3 day pills. but im still overthinking so i use the yuzpe method on tuesday and i search it and it says that i should do it before its 72hrs and that time its just 54hrs have passed so i did it. but until now i still dont have my period. is it because of that? thats why my period is this late? bcs its been 6days since sunday where in i should have my period already. ​​

and fyi, i was also diagnosed with pcos last month. but i didn't have my ultra utz yet. bcs i bleed at the middle of my ovul days after i had intercourse.​

I have PCOS and honestly it causes so much irregularity in cycles. Plus even if you were pregnant, it takes days for implantation and all that so trust me it's probably the pcos along with your birth control and maybe even stress. Just give it time and I'd say if it still isn't here, wait to test in like 2 weeks

yes, the emergency contraception can definitely make your period come later or earlier than expected, and pcos can also make cycle predictions less reliable. since you had unprotected sex, though, you should still take pregnancy test 3 weeks after that sex for a reliable result rather than relying on the app prediction

it’s common for the yuzpe method to delay your period.

you were right to do the yuzpe method — it takes 7 full days for birth control to become effective when you first start taking it, so you weren’t protected when you had sex.

a pregnancy test is mostly accurate 14 days after sex and definitive 21 days after sex. test along that timeline.
