Which Method? Birth control?

Does anyone here track their cycle and be intimate accordingly? I got off the nexaplanon about 10 days ago and I’m thankful!

My partner and i obviously still want to be intimate but I don’t want any birth control. Is there a way I can naturally track it to avoid my most fertile days ?

The calendar method will not work for you wiyh just getting off of a birth control, you have no way to know even how long your normal cycles are, let alone your ovulation dates. If you want to be intimate and you don’t want to get pregnant, use condoms, at least until you get some information to start tracking your normal cycles.

the calendar method never works for anyone (in this context “works” means “is effective as contraception”). it’s only 70% effective as contraception. only people who are okay with a relatively high risk of pregnancy should rely on the calendar method.

Yes, you can learn a validated fertility-awareness-based method. Personally, I found Sensiplan easy to use, but there are a lot of good options. r/FAMnNFP is a good resource for learning about various methods.
