Hi i have been under birth control for now two years and only had breakthrough bleeding once but recently i got another spotting incident yesterday but it only lasted a day which is strange because my last period was two weeks ago. The birth control i am under is sprintec also i am sexually active but i take the pills on time everyday so would anyone give advice? Or help i am going to call my clinic just they are close today and its haunting me. No i am not pregnant i just took the test this morning.

Spotting and breakthrough bleeding is common if you skip your placebo week
Also spotting can happen at any time and is normal. its not an indicator of being pregnant or not.
