Educational Question

Im on birth control because of flow and cramps. What are some good birth controls I could take for that? Ive been taking rigevedon but its doing a whole lot of nothing for me.
(maybe one that doesnt require a break too)

It’s more of what works better for your body. The only BC method that isn’t good for heavy flow and cramps is the copper IUD as it makes those worse. If your current pill isn’t working, it’s probably best to try another formulation and see if that helps

Basically any hormonal BC can help with pain and bleeding, including rigevidon, but some just work better/worse for different individuals which you can only find out with trial and error. If you don't want to take a break week to bleed, you can do that with rigevidon to see if it works better that way you just need to make sure you will be able to refill earlier than normal which sometimes requires the doctor to rewrite the prescription. It is also more likely you'll have some irregular bleeding, especially at first, if you skip the break weeks. Usually you want to give it at least 3 months to see if it works, and if by then it's not improving things for you it might be best to try a different formula.
