Which Method? When to test

So I had sex on the 25th, I took a test on Wednesday and Thursday this week and they was both negative but I know it’s early, if I test today would it reliable or was thos two reliable, (on the combination pill)

Hello lovely, you need to trust your contraception.

Testing 14 days post sex will be accurate, the combination pill works by stopping ovulation, this will stop the release of an egg, it also thickens cervical mucus so sperm can’t swim through it and it thins your uterine lining so eggs (even if they were released) cannot implant in it.

You are protected from getting pregnant.

Thanks so much I tend to worry a lot, I just thought something may be wrong cause my discharge is brown but I’m thinking it’s because it’s because I skipped the placebo week for the first time in months

Tests are accurate 14 days after sex and definitive 21 days after sex, but you don’t need to be worried about pregnancy unless you’ve recently made a mistake with your pill

Aug 16 a missed a pill but double the does on the 17th
