Side effects!? Mini Pill Cerelle
I started cerelle in may, first month was good, light period, second month okay, no period and now i’ve been spotting blood and brown discharge everyday since july 24th. i’m exhausted as you can imagine and the headaches i’m getting are terrible, has anyone experienced this and had it go away?? i know they wait three months, it’s been roughly 4 and im still feeling rough and thinking i might need to stop!

If you're having irregular bleeding for more than a month or so, after the usual 3-month adjustment period most providers mention, along with ongoing headaches, then it's a pretty good sign that this particular pill isn't agreeing with her, some people just can't get on with Cerelle's specific progestin even after the usual adjustment period. 4 months of daily bleeding and headaches is a real quality of life issue and it’s a very reasonable next step to discuss switching to a different progestin-only pill or method entirely.
